Ohh. Ma goodness.

I could not have dreamed up a better scenario if I tried. I met Sarah while assistant coaching Franciscan University’s women’s soccer team a few years ago. She was a force to be reckoned with on the field, fiercely loyal to her teammates, and passionate about the game. And when I got to meet up with her again last week, that same force, loyalty, and passion are still there. But there’s a peacefulness about her, too. It’s in the way she and Gabriel orient themselves around each other. It’s in her laugh as he moves in close. It’s in the light in his eyes as he dreams of forever with her.

It’s easy. Effortless. There’s a joy about them that’s contagious. And it made my job so, so easy.

Sarah and Gabriel, thank you for inviting me in to your love story. I cannot wait to see it all unfold at your wedding next summer.
