Jamal + Taylor | Santa Barbara, CA

Jamal and Taylor have one of those magical, once in a lifetime stories. One that makes you believe in the true goodness God has in store for each of us. They met on the Camino de Santiago, just briefly. But it was enough to leave an impression on both of them. Neither realized that the Camino would be just the beginning of a deep friendship and an even deeper love.

I’ve known Taylor since we were four years old. That’s a solid TWENTY SIX years of friendship. You could say we know each other well (ha). Tay has been through a lot of ups and downs in the last few years. But let me just tell you, I’ve never seen her more happy, more herself, and more at peace than on her wedding day. Jamal, thank you for loving her the way you do. Your day was an absolute joy to photograph, and I hope these photos capture some of your story for the next generation. I hope they look back and see the happy tears (and oh my goodness, there were many!), the tenderness, and all the love in day one of your forever.
