Maria + Richie | Blessed Sacrament + The Countryside Wedding

Richie and Maria got married on the Feast of St. Joseph, and I’ve got to say, I think the Saint was certainly interceding for them. I’m always struck by particular moments in a wedding day, and this day was full of them .

They started the day with prayer, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Father Beau’s homily centered around hope and the undeniable trust these two have in the Lord. He spoke about the similarities between Richie and St. Joseph, and the way he wove their stories together was incredible. It was one of the most beautiful and moving wedding homilies I’ve heard.

The musicians sang so beautifully after Holy Communion that I could feel the Spirit moving among us. Hands went up throughout the church as people sang and praised God for Richie and Maria, for the grace of the Sacraments, and for the beauty, truth, and goodness so present in their day.

Richie and Maria, it was an honor to capture day one of your marriage. May you become the saints you are called to be.
